Jones averaged 31.0 points per game in two outings last week for the Mountain Lions. The junior guard from Myrtle Beach, S.C., scored a career-high 37 in a 128-121 loss at Lander; a game that set PBC records for scoring and three-pointers made. He followed that with 25 points in a 120-119 win at Francis Marion on Saturday. Jones shot 54% from the field and three-point range, hitting seven three-pointers in each contest, setting a school record and tying the PBC record for threes made in a conference game. He added 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.5 assists per game. Jones leads the league in three-pointers made and is third in scoring.
