What Are You Doing Now?
Playing soccer for a 3rd Division team in France.
What was your most memorable moment from your athletic experience?
PBC Regular Season Champions in 2012 after a 3-1 win on the road at Francis Marion. I scored the third goal from a free kick.
How has your athletics experience influenced your life since leaving college?
My athletics experience has influenced my life in the way that now I am fluent in English, people always ask me for help in English. It feels good to be a ble to speak a second language and help people who have not had the chance to study abroad.
If you could have played any other sport than the one you did, what would it have been and why?
Basketball, because I really like to watch the NBA on tv.
What do you remember most about your coach?
Van Taylor is a special coach. He knows the game perfectly. I will always remember all of the pieces of advice and life lessons he gave us out on the field, pushing us to be better men. I will always be thankful for the opportunity he gave me to leave France to come to America to be a student-athlete.
What words of wisdom would you give to current Peach Belt student-athletes?
I would say to enjoy your college career because time flies and it only happens once in your life. Give everything you have in your sport, but more importantly do not forget that you are a student first. Go to class and get your degree. It must be your first goal.
