ASU's Ross, Clayton State's Walling Named Runners of the Week
Men's Runner of the Week
Dustin Ross • Augusta St. • Soph. • Rifle, Colo.
Ross set a career personal best and broke the 26-minute mark for the first time as he finished second at the Jaguar Invitational in 25:53. The sophomore covered the hilly 8k course at Blanchard Woods only behind Georgia State’s Valent Poncelet for his second top-five result of the season. His time is the fastest 8k run on the team and the sixth-fastest in the PBC this season.

Women's Runner of the Week
Samantha Walling • Clayton St. • Soph. • Galt, Calif.
Walling set a new career personal best by running the 5k course at the JSU Foothills Invitational in 19:21. She was the first PBC runner to cross the tape at the 12-team, 111-runner event, finishing 18th overall. She broke the 20-minute barrier for the first time this season and the second time overall in her career, the last coming when she won the Pacer Invitational in 2010. Her time is the fastest on the team and the second-fastest 5k run in the Peach Belt this season.
