Pittman was a force at the net both offensively and defensively in four games last week as #17 Armstrong improved to 20-0. The junior hit .517 with 2.53 kills and 1.47 blocks per set. She began with eight kills and seven blocks in a big win over Flagler, then had 10 kills at Lander and 12 at UNC Pembroke. She finished with eight kills and eight blocks in a sweep of Bentley, hitting .667. For the week, Pittman committed only seven errors in 60 attacks and is hitting .413 in conference matches. She leads the league in all blocking categories including 1.31 per set for the season.
Anna Garrison, Montevallo

Garrison impressed as the Falcons went 2-1 during the week, averaging 12.00 assists and 2.58 digs per set. She began with 41 assists in only three sets in a win over West Alabama, collecting seven digs. She then had 47 assists and 16 digs in a conference win over UNC Pembroke. In a five-set loss to FMU, she doled out 57 assists, tied for the fourth-highest single-game total in the PBC this year, and collected eight digs. Under Garrison's direction, UM hit .230 as a team on the week, more than 40 points higher than their season average. She is currently fourth in the PBC in assists per set and 10th in digs.
