Player of the Week: Rebecca Morgan, UNC Pembroke
Morgan was the fuel that propelled the Braves to four straight wins and the #3 seed in the PBC Tournament. The senior collected 4.15 kills and 3.53 digs per set while hitting .316. She began with a modest 10 kills and eight digs in a sweep of Francis Marion, then set a career-high with 24 kills, with only six errors, and 17 digs against Augusta State. She added 20 more kills with 21 digs, becoming the only PBC player this season to go 20-20 in a match. Morgan also had eight aces and five blocks in the three matches. She is now third in the PBC in kills per set and 11th in hitting percentage.
