Player of the Week

Morgan Mitchell, Armstrong Atlantic State

Mitchell scored three goals as the No. 18-ranked Pirates went 2-0-1 last week. She became just the third player this season to score a goal against No. 11 Rollins in Armstrong's 1-1 draw with the Tars on Friday. She then notched two goals in the first 12 minutes of Armstrong's PBC title-share clinching 7-1 victory over Georgia Southwestern on Saturday. Seven of her eight shots on the week were on goal and Mitchell now ranks tied for sixth in the PBC in goals and leads in game-winning goals with 5.

Defender of the Week

Kansas Bayly, Columbus State
Soph. • D • Lilburn, Ga.

Bayly takes her third straight weekly award after scoring twice and leading the Cougar defense to another shutout in a 2-0 week.  She scored both goals in CSU's 2-1 overtime win against Clayton State and led a defense that held the Lakers to just two shots in the second half and none in overtime.  The goals were the first Clayton State had allowed in 570 minutes.  Bayly then led the defense to a shutout of USC Aiken, holding the Pacers to two shots.  CSU is now second in the PBC with a 0.68 team GAA.
