Dover, Bahr and Beetch Named Women's Soccer Players of the Week
Player of the Week
Emily Dover, North Georgia

Dover was solid yet again in two more wins for the Lady Saints with two goals and an assist in two games. She scored the opening goal and assisted on the second in a 2-0 win over Clayton State, then scored the first goal in NGCSU's hard-fought 3-2 win over Carson-Newman. For the season, Dover is tied for the league lead with eight goals scored and leads the conference outright with 19 total points. She also leads the PBC in game-winners with four, three of those in conference games.
Defender of the Week
Kelli Bahr, Armstrong Atlantic State

Bahr helped the Armstrong defense give up just one goal in three road matches on the week as the Pirates went 2-0-1 with their first two shutouts of the season. She played all 90 minutes in Armstrong's 1-0 shutout win at No. 23 Columbus State, then logged all 110 minutes in the Pirates' 1-1 draw with South Region finalist Tampa. Bahr also helped hold USC Aiken to five shots in a 3-0 win at USC Aiken . The Pirates outshot their opponents 44-24 on the week.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Chelsea Beetch, Lander

Beetch turned in two more solid performances last week with 190 shutout minutes between the pipes. She began with 100 minutes of action in a 1-0 overtime win against Georgia College, then played all 90 in a 1-0 road win at Flagler. She made six saves in the two games combined and the shutouts were her fourth and fifth of the year, most in the Peach Belt. She is tied for third in the league with a 0.71 GAA, is third in shot percentage and fourth in minutes played.
