Defender of the Week: Fanny Forsman, UNC Pembroke

Forsman led a defense that allowed just one goal over three games, including a pair of 1-0 victories during the weekend. The Lady Braves’ defense held No. 14 Columbus State scoreless on Friday to claim their first win over the PBC preseason favorite since 2005 and they limited the West Georgia Wolves to just nine shots on Sunday in Carrollton, Ga. The Lady Braves’ defense has now allowed just one goal through five games and has held their opponents to just 0.20 goals per game and a .015 shot percentage.
