Nov 1, 2009 Women's Soccer Daily Update - Nov. 1 - Tournament Field Set Columbus State captured their fifth straight PBC title on Sunday
with a 4-0 win at Flagler. With that victory, the final field for
the 2009 PBC Tournament has been set.
Columbus State will be the #1 seed for the fifth straight
tournament and will host #8 Montevallo in Tuesday's first

Armstrong Atlantic State will be #2, finishing just one point
behind the Cougars. The Pirates will host #7 UNC Pembroke on
Tuesday at 2:00. UNCP lost a tiebreak with Flagler.
Lander will be the #3 seed for the PBC Tournament thanks to
their win over North Georgia and tie against GCSU. GCSU will be the
#4 seed and host a first round game with ties against both North
Georgia and Lander. North Georgia falls to the #5 spot and will
travel to GCSU in the first round on Tuesday.
Flagler will be the #6 seed thanks to that tiebreak over UNC
Pembroke. UNCP will be the #7 seed and Montevallo the #8.
All first-round games will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at the
higher seed. The four winners will then travel to Evans, Ga., for
the semis and finals Nov. 6 and 8 at Blanchard Woods Park.
