Player of the Week: Lefke Boysen, UNC Pembroke

Boysen scored 11 points on five goals, including both game-winning scores, and one assist to give UNCP 12 or more wins for the third time in school history. The senior began the week by registering an assist, as well as UNCP’s second hat trick of the season in a 7-0 no doubter over region rival St. Andrews, and then scored twice in a 3-0 blanking of USC Aiken on Senior Day. The scoring output vaulted the Brave up to third in the PBC standings in points and fourth in goals scored. She is one assist away from matching her own school record for points set as a freshman in 2003.
