PBC Women's Soccer Recap - Oct. 30

The first round of the PBC soccer tournament was played on Tuesday and each of the top four seeds advanced to the finals which will be hosted by Columbus State this Friday and Sunday.

Top-seeded Columbus State ran past USC Aiken 7-0.  Full story is here.

#2 seed Armstrong Atlantic State got an overtime goal from Kristin Burton to edge out a stubborn North Georgia team 1-0.  Read all about it here.

Fourth-Seeded Georgia College & State University won their first-ever postseason game with a 2-0 decision over Clayton State.  All you want to know is here.

With those games completed, the final four will travel to Columbus, Ga., this Friday for the tournament semifinals.  Armstrong Atlantic State will take on Lander in the first game at 4:30 and then GCSU takes on Columbus State at 7:00.  The championship game will be this Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2:30 at Columbus State.
