12 PBC women's soccer players have been selected to the
Daktronics All-Southeast Region team as selected by sports
information directors. Seven of those players were named first team
and will be eligible for All-America honors.
On the first team are Columbus State's Monica Sanchez and
Megan Honig, Armstrong Atlantic State's Alyssa Anderson and Kristin
Burton, UNC Pembroke's Lefke Boysen, Lander's Stacey Copeland and
Clayton State's Olaitan Yusuf.
The second team players are GCSU's Morgan Cobb, North Georgia's
Casey Smith, AASU's Lyndsi Stricklen, Lander's Jannica Finnberg and
UNCP's Alex McManus.
Lincoln Memorial's Heloisa de Oliveira was named the region
player of the year.
