Lander's Tolbert, GSW's Randall Named Basketball Players of the Week
Women's Player of the Week
Adrian Randall, Georgia Southwestern

Randall becomes the first GSW women's player to ever earn a PBC Player of the Week award after averaging 14.5 points and 14 rebounds in two games while shooting 58% from the field. The junior exploded for 25 points and 17 rebounds as GSW won their conference opener with their first win ever at Montevallo. She hit 10 of 13 shots in that game and five of seven free throws. She started the week with only 20 minutes against Truett-McConnell scoring four points but grabbing 11 rebounds. For the week, 13 of her 28 boards were on the offensive glass and she added 3.0 assists per game. With her performance, Randall is now third in the PBC in rebounding with 12.7 per game and cracked the top 10 in scoring with 12.7 points per game for eighth place. She is also second in the PBC in blocks.

Men's Player of the Week
Dwight Tolbert, Lander
Sr. • F • Tifton, Ga.
Tolbert was simply remarkable in Lander's first two conference games, averaging 28 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. The senior scored 31 in Lander's double-overtime win at Francis Marion, scoring the final five Bearcat points in the last 24 seconds to win the game. He also grabbed 11 rebounds in that contest with four blocks and four assists. He followed that up with 25 points and eight rebounds in a loss at UNC Pembroke, adding eight rebounds and four steals. Tolbert hit 6 of 12 three-pointers against FMU and shot 47% from long range all together. He now has three 20+ point games in Lander's five contests and has moved into fourth in the PBC in scoring. He is also fourth in rebounding, fifth in blocks and seventh in three-point percentage.
