Pitcher of the Week: Mollie Russell, Columbus State

Russell was untouchable in two starts last week, pitching 14 innings and allowing five total hits while striking out 28.  She began with a complete-game shutout of Nova Southeastern, allowing two hits and three walks with 15 strikeouts.  She then had another complete-game shutout win against West Florida, walking nobody and striking out 13 while tossing only 80 pitches.  Russell is currently second in the PBC with a 0.88 ERA and is third with 9.00 stikeouts per seven innings.  The two shutouts extended her streak to three in a row.
