Pitcher of the Week: Mandy Chandler, GCSU

Chandler went 4-0 with one earned run in 24.2 innings last week. She picked up two wins against Columbus State, tossing a four-hitter in the opener and then 3.2 innings of relief in game two. Against Augusta State the junior started both games and threw every pitch, allowing a grand total of two hits over 14 innings with 15 strikeouts. In the nightcap, she carried a perfect game into the seventh. She walked only two batters and gave up eight total hits. Leads the PBC with her 0.79 ERA and .137 opponent batting average. Also leads the league in strikeouts and innings.
