Player of the Week: Alex Caspari, Francis Marion

Caspari was 2-0 in both singles and doubles last week and remains unbeaten on the season in both.  He defeated USC Aiken’s Guilherme Destefani in straight sets at #1 singles while he and partner Davin Davison downed the #1 USCA team of Stiebinger and Berlyn.  Caspari then knocked off Lander’s 15th-ranked Paul-Henri Arrigoni 6-3, 7-5; Arrigoni’s first loss of the season.  The Caspari/Davison doubles team then beat Lander’s 11th-ranked team of Axelsson and Jonsson 8-2.  Caspari and Davison are the #19-ranked doubles team in the nation.
