Nine PBC Men's Soccer Players Named Daktronics All-Region

Nine PBC men's soccer players were named to the Daktronics All-Southeast Region Men's Soccer Team.  Six of those players were named to the first team and are eligible for All-America consideration.  Flagler dominated the region with five All-Region selections, four of those on the first team.  In all PBC players made up nearly half of the first-team selections with six of the 13 honorees.  Clayton State added two to the first-team ranks with UNC Pembroke and USC Aiken adding one each to the second team.

The Daktronics NCAA Division II all-Southeast Region Teams are voted on by the sports information directors of the Southeast Region. The region is comprised of the Conference Carolinas, the Peach Belt Conference, and the South Atlantic Conference.

Members of the first team are now eligible for Daktronics NCAA Division II All-America honors.

The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition.  Anderson's Lasse Sohrweide was named the region's Player of the Year.
