Defender of the Week: Jamie Ramm, Lander

Ramm scored the only goal of the game and led a defense that shutout Clayton State in a 1-0 thriller that gave the Bearcats the #2 seed for the tournament. The senior scored the game's lone goal just 5:02 into play and then guided the defense to the shutout despite being outshot 13-7. Earlier in the week, Lander shutout Erskine 3-0, holding the Flying Fleet to just five shots on goal. The Lander defense is currently fifth in the PBC in both goals allowed and goals allowed average.
