Goalkeeper of the Week: Clark Richeson, Francis Marion
Richeson extended his personal scoreless streak to over 200
minutes as he played over 180 minutes of shutout soccer in two
games last week. He played 75 minutes in a 4-0 win over Newberry,
then all 110 of FMU's double-overtime tie with Clayton State.
Against the Lakers, the junior had 12 saves, his second-highest
career total, one short of the 13 saves he had against the Lakers
in 2007. Currently leads the PBC with a 0.79 goals against
average.
