UNCP's Walor, Columbus State's Crowley Named Golfers of the Week
Men's Golfer of the Week
Jordan Walor, UNC Pembroke
Sr., Wake Forest, N.C.
Walor shot three rounds in the 60s to finish second at the Bobcat
Invitational. The senior carded rounds of 68, 68 and 67 to finish
with a seven-under-par 203, one stroke behind Lynn's Daniel
Young. The winner of three tournaments this season, Walor's
203 is the lowest 54-hole tournament shot by any PBC golfer this
season and he becomes the only PBC golfer to shoot three
consecutive rounds in the 60s in a 54-hole event. Walor's
efforts lowered his stroke average to a conference-leading 71.5, on
pace to be the third-lowest season average in league history.
His efforts helped the Braves to a third-place finish, lowest of
the eight conference teams at the event which featured 14 teams
ranked among the top 30 in the nation.
