Player of the Week: Joe Young, GCSU

Young fired a team-best 217 (+1) as GCSU finished second at the 17-team Emerald Coast Collegiate in Florida.  The freshman from Cochran, Ga.,  went 70-72-75 in three rounds to finish in a tie for eighth place in the 91-team field, his third top-10 finish of the year.  With that outing, he also moved into a tie for the team lead with a 73.8 stroke avearge along side Niclas Johansson.
