May 6, 2008 PBC Baseball Tournament to be Carried on Peachbeltsports.tv The Peach Belt Conference announced on Tuesday that all games of
the 2008 PBC Baseball Tournament but one will be available over the
internet with live audio and video. The games will be carried on
peachbeltsports.tv, the league’s broadcasting site with
partner Penn Atlantic. All games are available on a pay-per-view
basis with each contest costing $5.95.
Due to technical reasons, the only game that will not be available
is Thursday’s Francis Marion/North Georgia contest at Lake
Olmstead Stadium in Augusta. However, that is the only contest
scheduled for that site with all other games being played at USC
Aiken’s Roberto Hernandez Stadium. Both North Georgia and
Francis Marion will have their Friday contests broadcast.
To view and purchase games, visit the PBC’s website at
www.peachbeltconference.org or www.peachbeltsports.tv. Currently,
only the schedule for Thursday is displayed due to the possible
adjustment to the bracket that will allow USC Aiken, the host team,
to play at 7:00 on Friday night regardless of the outcome on
Thursday. The schedule for Friday will be posted as soon as play
concludes on Thursday.
