The Peach Belt Conference announced that 774 student-athletes have been named to the Presidential Honor Roll from the leagues annual meetings in Hilton Head. The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes at PBC institutions who had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.

AASUs Stupak Leads List of PBC Tennis Award Winners
Armstrong Atlatic States Iuliia Stupak was named the Senior Womens Tennis Player of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) just prior to the national championships in Houston. Stupaks national award led a chorus of regional awards given to Peach Belt tennis players at the annual banquet.

Lander's LaShonda Chiles, who set the all-time NCAA Division II career scoring record this season, received another high honor when she was named the Female Amateur Athlete of the Year for the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame.

USCA's Goff Wins NCAA Individual Championship; GCSU Fourth
USC Aikens Jeff Goff won a playoff to capture the 2008 NCAA National Championship individual title after shooting a final-round 70. GCSU as a team finished fourth overall while USCA was seventh and Clayton State 10th.
